From Neelkanth, Pauri Garhwal
Born in Neelkanth, Pauri Garhwal, Abhay grew up understanding the rhythm of mountain life, the seasons, the silence, the strength of community.
After his rafting resort in Rishikesh was swept away in the 2013 Kedarnath floods, he channeled his experience in adventure tourism into something deeper, a hospitality model that keeps villages alive instead of empty.
Today he oversees operations and guest experiences across all Pahadi House locations, from Kanatal to Mussoorie to Rishikesh.
“After our resort was engulfed by the floods, we returned to our villages and decided we cannot give up now.”
