# Pahadi House

> Pahadi House — A Himalayan Way of Living. Eco-conscious mountain stays and curated experiences in Uttarakhand, India. Founded in 2014 by Abhay Sharma and Yash Bhandari after the 2013 Kedarnath floods, with the goal of reviving abandoned mountain homes and reconnecting travellers to the slower, quieter pahadi way of living.

Pahadi House runs two flagship stays — a Swiss-tent campsite on George Everest Peak in Mussoorie at 7,054 ft (2,150 m), and a riverside cottage retreat on the Ganga near Rishikesh — plus a curated set of locally-guided experiences (rafting, trekking, stargazing, village walks, cooking, Ganga aarti).
